Is It Fall Already?

We have a tree outside our back door.  It has already lost most of its leaves.  The remaining few are turning yellow.  Surely it isn't FALL already?

 

There are more trees turning colors.  Not a lot, but a few.  We are having some cool nights. The days start out cool and then end up hot.  Strange weather.

 

The morning is overcast today, partially shrouding Purgatory Mountain.  Every time I look out at Purgatory I am reminded of my Aunt Suzy.  She says she comes up here to visit me and to view her final resting place.

 


It seems she assumes she will end up in Purgatory.  I have heard some of the stories.  She could be right.
