Wild Turkey Eggs

I think something found a nest from one of our resident birds..  We have found two separate eggs on different days. 

 

Always on the driveway.

 

We have a few turkeys that live in our woods, so I looked online and found these photographs of turkey eggs.

 

And turkey nests being raided by skunks.

 

Based on this extensive and exhaustive research, I have determined they are turkey eggs.

Whatever it is, it has enjoyed a lovely breakfast. At the expense of a hapless turkey.  Perhaps.
